Some fans call Evita boring but it is one of my faves movies ever... the last 30 minutes especially is....

In school I was taking a Latin Film class and we had to do our final paper on a film with a Latin theme and characters. We had to explore narrative, various techniques, cinematography, wardrobe, etc.
Other than perhaps Ray of Light and the Blonde Ambition Tour, I think Evita is the best thing she's done in her entire career. It is an incredible movie and she does astoundingly. I can't even imagine how difficult it must've been for her to film this film at that time of her career, queen really did thaT. Well TBH I can imagine cause she wrote about it in such detal. The Evita diaries are some of the most interesting things she's ever written - if you haven't read them I suggest you track them down ASAP. She pretty much wrote and published a diary of her whole filming experience - it's incredible.
