I digress...
There is a reason she released records like "7/11" and "Feelin Myself" before "Lemonade." Pitchfork said it best in their explanation of "4" to Beyonce."
I'd say this to say that Beyonce is a master of eras and that segway of "7/11" was as toned down as it gets. We never know what she will do next, but I am sure she will segway into the next era in a drastic and different way than expected.

I saw 7/11 as a throwaway gift to the fans, another left-field move for her to make a song (and video!) so relaxed and of the moment.
100% if she had tried to add another video like Ghost/Haunted or anything with the artistry of ST, it would have felt like a confusing afterthought. Does it belong with the rest? Is it supposed to stand alone?
7/11 was perfectly executed because it doesn’t fit with ST, it leaves its integrity intact.
