I was low-key thinking this too when I watched. But it's so hard because --- you don't know if they did this all with good intentions (which I think most likely is the case).
I think gays should be incorporated more into comedy, but in ways where we're not always playing the laughing stock. Perhaps comedy could use the ignorance of straight homophobes to their advantage once in a while .... imagine all the sketches they'd do with self-loathing gays
