If the execution of RTB's release is perfect, then it will be successful here. The problem with a lot of its chart runs is that Imma Be began to overshadow it. Since Imma Be is done here, that problem won't happen.

It will get a lot of play in clubs & it being summer soon will only help.

That was only a problem in Canada, but RTB was already rising on radio in late November 2009 when Imma Be barely had any American airplay.
I originally thought that was the reason for its floppage in Canada but seeing its underwhelming performance elsewhere, I don't think it mattered that much. Imma Be didn't interfere in the UK (it peaked at like…#90 on UK iTunes I think), and RTB just didn't do that well. It's already falling like a rock on UK iTunes.
We'll see how it does in the US but I don't have very high expectations.

Hmm... well one problem I see with the release is that the video is already out. It won't get any boost that way then. But I've seen in the mediabase thread that it is already being added to radio & getting healthy updates.

I believe that rock that body is a SUREFIRE HIT in the US. The fact is is that the execution of the single worldwide was an epic fail on the labels part based on the international popularity of Imma Be. However, I think that Rock That Body will do well. Definitely top ten in US. maybe even number one ( I didn't think it was going to happen with imma be.... But Gladly it did!!).

^I don't see how people can say that. "Imma Be" was only released in the U.S. Only Canada was the other country to pick it up because there wasn't really any 100% confirmation of what Canada was supposed to get. (Although, it was supposed to be "Rock That Body" as well, but they went with the U.S. for some reason.) I don't recall other countries, besides Australia, picking up "Imma Be" at all. Maybe a little bit of digital sales, but European radio didn't really pick up "Imma Be." Besides, artists have done that plenty of times and the songs do much better than "Rock That Body" did.

Rock That Body will go Top 10 at best I hope it flops. Missing You>>>>
