You are missing on some of the most beautiful nature in the world. Anything west of Kansas is breathtaking!

I've only been in WV on the way to Pennsylvania and KY/GA on the way to Florida.
Might be going to Michigan and Colorado next year (as well as all the states between me and Colorado)!

How long was your trip?
I want to make a big road trip to the West again, but now down to California
I am thinking to allow myself about 16 days (driving from Chicago)

I think it took us 8 days to go from Washington DC to Utah, but we spent a lot of time looking at sights. Going from Chicago to California in 16 days should give you plenty of time!
