Miranda hasn't deserved the award since the 'Revolution' era, the fact Miranda won both times during the 'Blown Away' era when Carrie was higher in sales, tour gross and airplay shows how corrupt the voting is. Glad she finally won again, if she would've lost it I think more people would finally realize Carrie fans aren't bitter, but the CMA voting-blocs do everything in their power to not award Carrie. Hell, they were all probably seething when they realized they had to give it to Carrie.
