I agree with all the generic comments, but we've only got two of the original four girls.
Is anyone else not SHOOK that they picked up one of the Mejia sisters that wasn't already in TWO girl groups?! Poor Natalie. I was rooting for her back the Girlicious days. That debut album was the jam back in the day. I.O.U.1 & Liar Liar anyone??
Mejia Sisters was a hot mess though, anyone heard any of their joint stuff?
I think this 'comeback' came way too soon. I get they wanted to see if there was some momentum left, but the fact the roll out for this new songs is merely based on purely streaming and they promoted Ugly Heart, a song done by an almost complete different line-up is just odd.
I feel they should have waited a bit and figure out what they want to represent as this newly formed line-up/group rather than just randomly doing all kinds of things.

That at making in a 4/5 piece girl group. As much as I love them...they need someone with star potential which both Simone and to some extent Emmalyn had. They need two other great vocalist to balance the group out. Natasha vocals overpowers that of Lauren and Jazzy. Jazzy meshes well with Lauren vocal wise.
I really like Lauren but she sounds terrible on her verse. Good song otherwise though. Just not really sure what the point of revamping the GRL name is if they're independent. Should have just called themselves something new.

None of these 3 have great vocal tones either. Natasha sounds better on this song where she usually sounds harsh and Lauren sounds bad where she normally blends in. Simone and Emmalyn both had nicer tones too (regardless of proper technique for any of them)

I mean I like Lauren, but she is basically the Melody of the group, she is vocally a rollercoaster with a lot of lows and a few highs most of the time.

Basic but there's something off about it. Like I get it everything is generic these days, but there's ZERO distinction in their vocals, plain vanilla, same with the production.
