Well for one literally EVERYONE gets dragged to the high heavens on here - nobody is left out sadly.
Secondly, I think just a lot of people (and I have to agree) believe he is vastly overrated.
Tho I must admit I didn't realise he was so disliked on here, I was surprised by how many people were calling him tacky/cheesy in that other thread. I assumed it was a universal fact he was quite cheesy but that was just part of his act.
He seems to be underperforming so that's why. You know most of this time will turn against artists if they flop and if they are not an ATRL fave. Worse if they're male.
24K Magic is just not a song that has truly resonated with ATRL or the GP, so good will toward Bruno is running low. He loves all my faves, so we're cool. I wasn't too impressed with some the misogyny in his new lyrics tho.
His first album was pop perfection. JTWYA and Grenade are just about everything you could want in a pop song. LOOH was a nice throwback. Uptown Funk, same, but a little more gimmicky. 24KM is even worse. He isn't growing as an artist and he's kinda wasting his talent with his new music tbh. He deserves the draggings
