Not all drag is about being catty or super feminine, there are many diff styles of drag.

Granted issues have been brought up about drag ie the lingo among drag queens (fish/fishy) for example.

That's your prerogative, however, personally I think the prevalence of sexual violence, gender-based slurs and pay gap alone justify feminism in 2016. Sure, there are crazies, but feminism has always been labelled as "too extreme" and too much, even back in the suffragette-age, when women dared to demand right to vote.

I don't have to label myself as a feminist to still believe in equality of the sexes. I always have and will support women's rights and equality, as I did before I discovered Twitter and saw it was popular thing to label myself as one, and will till the day I die.

Drag Queen's aren't trying to be women, they are trying to be drag queens. It's very different in my eyes but I could understand how someone who isn't well-versed in the culture could be confused.

For me, there is a VERY obviously line between woman and drag queens.

It's men tucking into a bit of femininity and challenging gender. There's nothing wrong or offensive about that as ultimately challenging gender through things like drag benefits both men and women.

Drag is the definition of caricature with exaggerated facial/bodily features, make up, hair, feminine behaviour and mannerism not natural to the men portraying them.

I'll simply say most woman are not offended and it is not intended as a form of degrading woman (like blackface was). Although in certain other cultures like Japan where woman were excluded from certain forms of theatre and replaced by men in "drag", it may be perceived differently.

The context and history is just different, but I don't think its a stupid question to ask.
