It's weird because to people now it must not be that scary, but it was amaaazing at building up the tension and dropping the girls 1 by 1 as Michael made his way closer and closer to Laurie, until eventually they were just in a closet together. 
I also love that before they made her his sister in the sequels, in the original she was just a girl that he happened to see in the street and became obsessed with killing her.

Yeah, I know, I wasnt expecting much because of the year the movie was made and stuff, but it took way too long for the drama to start, like the last 25min were the real dramatic moments.
It was still entertaining, and I will probably watch the resto of the movies.
