Not most of the time. I guess we have different friends. Usually I've heard more of the side effects involving acne and mood swings. In fact, here is one site stating percentage by reason of use: "The study—based on U.S government data from the National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG)—revealed that after pregnancy prevention (86%), the most common reasons women use the pill include reducing cramps or menstrual pain (31%); menstrual regulation, which for some women may help prevent migraines and other painful “side effects” of menstruation (28%); treatment of acne (14%); and treatment of endometriosis (4%). As you can tell, the main reason is for contraception and most tend to have to try different brands to find the right fit. So, I'm not blaming men for anything. I'm saying if women can handle mood swings on a monthly basis after puberty, not on choice, then guys who are active can handle a little bit of depression when injected.
