All the people saying "it's about doing your best"
Is it any wonder that the generation that is used to receiving praise simply for showing up or participating would propagate such a philosophy?
Anyway, if people want to be vegan, I have no real issues with that, personally. What grinds my gears is people who preach from their pulpit while being completely incoherent and inconsistent in their actions. If you have the audacity to lecture and judge meat-eaters for "contributing to the abuse and torture of animals", you better make damn sure that you yourself are beyond reproach in that sense. Otherwise, you know what that's called? Hypocrisy.
If you're a vegan and you keep your convictions & judgments to yourself, good for you!
If inestead you think it's your vocation to convert the world to your lifestyle, you better be living in a hut in the middle of nowhere before daring to open your mouth to judge a carnivore/omnivore. Full stop.
