i know some people that never had a facebook account, but thats not the case
i have a normal facebook account, with 700+ friends
but im done and i think social networks are holding me back from growing in life
the people i know who dont have facebook are a little hold back socially and weird, but nice as well
i dont want to become a recluse, in fact i want the complete opposite to happen
i have a boyfriend and i cant wait to not have to post about me or my relationship on socials anymore
is like when you complete 1 year of relationship and you HAVE to post about it

Why not just keep your Facebook but stop posting as much?

You can choose for it to reactivate automatically or sign in when/if you want to access it again.

I barely post on it, but its cute to see photos and stuff of people

My opinion is that you're being a bit dramatic but delete it if you wish, that's up to you.

Do like I did... start by deleting the app off your phone. You'll instantly stop worrying about it as much.

I use it primarily to promote my brand. And thank God when you have a PAGE your timeline looks so much better.

i already slowed down a lot my usage of it, dont post almost anything and just recommend something to someone or use messenger, but if I keep coming back to post even for one time a month it will seem "active"

i used to follow pages of celebrity news and just news in general
and the comments were the absolute trash
i hate to see people being stupid about something or someone
and this week i was giving my opinion on something and received the most ridiculous hate comments

like, everytime i saw demi lovato complaining or azealia banks complaining about something i would say, bitch, be yourself, dont look at this. go out more. but now i kinda get it, youre being personal, and people will judge your pictures, your posts, your whole life by a page. you have to delete it, its an addiction

but my wishing of leaving it come from a year already I think
i just never had the courage because my family is in it and they will think im going crazy or something

i already only follow the closest people and it helped a lot
and i did do it, but friends keep sending me stuff to look at, or inviting me to something and if i dont check it ill miss it
thats why i have to delete it for good, or else ill be trapped
