Jess Glynne had humongous success with her chart-topping debut collection I Cry When I Laugh back in 2014, but now the challenge to avoid the dreaded second album curse begins.
But it sounds like it's not going to be a problem for the British singer-songwriter, as she has roped in some of the biggest names in music to help her out.
Her long-time collaborator Janee Bennett is back on board, and has already hit the studio with Jess and plenty of other top talent.
"We've started [Jess's] new album now," Janee told Digital Spy at the BMI London Awards last night (October 10).
"We've been working with some amazing producers and writers, including Toby Gad - who's done loads with Beyoncé - Skrillex and PARTYNEXTDOOR. I've been doing quite a few things with Jess for the second album."
I'm hopeful. Her debut was big singles surrounded by filler. So far these producers are known for their hits so I wouldn't be surprised if she worked on some more big singles & then delivered a middle of the road album. She has it in her to deliver quality though.
