Because even if you have grown or gotten tired of your former music you don't have to say it out.
and you should respect your previous stuff, not "hate" it. It's childish.
Also, I'm pretty sure all those big artists who have performed with the same songs for 20+ years have gotten extremely tired of their songs. But do they say they HATE their discography? No.
Also, why would you hate something that put your name out there?
