But this site is so hypocritical. When a female artist like Halsey or Demi speak at all about their issues they get dragged but I see every single one of you being sympathetic and kind towards Zayn

THIS
I honestly believe that most of his weightloss was due to drug use
This boy has too much going on. I do not think this is the business for him tbh.
.
I wish him the best though

when i was in high school not only did i struggle with autism, but i also put school work over my health and loss some weight. I also have adhd and still struggle with stimulants sometimes. I am only 5'5" & a little over 100 pounds and trying to gain more. Being socially awkward only made me have more anxiety. At least now i don't feel as alone as i use to be. Thanks for sharing your story
I don't know of him really, but everytime I see pictures or videos of him he has a sense of darkness surrounding him. Hopefully he's happy one day. He may be one of those people not made for being a pop star.
I'm sympathizing with him. But I can't really get how he could have no nerves with 1D and now barely able to perform in his own, I get that he's alone so the whole spotlight is on him but still.. Anyways I wish him the best he's very talented.
Because mental illness typically sets in between the ages of 18 and 24. He could have been triggered by leaving 1D and tha backlash or it could be a genetic event.
Uh from the excerpts I read (I don't know if its an interview or from the book) he doesn't really describe having an eating disorder but being overworked and partying hence eating becoming secondary. I think his fans kind of rushed to call it something it's not necessarily. Like gaining or losing wait is a symptom of stress but it doesn't mean you have an eating disorder. Gaining or losing weight is also a symptom of depression but it doesn't mean that you have an eating disorder. What he described was not having time to eat and being overworked so he lost some weight.
The quotes:
"When I look back at images of myself from around November 2014, before the final tour, I can see how ill I was"
"I realized that I wasn't eating as much just down to the amount of work we were doing. Our schedule was kind of crazy, we were all over"
"It was more down to losing track of, you know, actually eating and being super busy and getting caught up with other things that.."
"..17 of 18 year olds do, which normandy entails them going out, drinking or partying, so it was a mixture of everything."
