And everyone saying "Work is strong because it spent 9 weeks!11!" Those 9 weeks were in the weakest quarter of the year and it's incredibly forgotten just months after "smashing." The other #1s of the year like Closer, One Dance, Sorry, Love Yourself, CSTF, etc. absolutely smashed it.

Work had the biggest peak of any song this year (going by Hot 100 points). Maybe Closer has beaten it since though, if it has then it's 2nd. Also, I still hear it everywhere, so whilst you and millions of others might never hear it, but there are millions of people for which Work is still unavoidable.
