her debut was a smash, her second album did well enough, but then it all went downhill... But her team was promoting her as an icon/legend as soon as stripped was released... which is so pretentious.

I think when people call her Legend X they are joking/mocking her. At the most Christina is a icon f the 90's and early 2000's. Her song Beautiful is def a classic and will be remembered

What legend are you talking about ? She hasn't had a "top 10" since more than a decade, hasn't had a succesful album since the mid 2000 and is barely known nowadays.
