X Factor boss Simon Cowell was left embarrassed on Saturday night as a viewer accused him of using the prime time ITV show to 'sell unknown Fifth Harmony records'.
In tonight's instalment of the popular programme viewers were treated to a Fright Night special and Simon's act Gifty Louise kicked off the show with a performance of Fifth Harmony’s I’m in Love With a Monster.
Louis Walsh was first to slam Simon, saying that he'd "never heard" of the track.
Later, as Simon appeared live on Xtra Factor, the music mogul was confronted by a disgruntled caller who claimed Simon was giving his act songs to promote the US band - who are signed to his record label, Syco Music.
They said: "You have given Gifty two unknown Fifth Harmony songs, and I just wondered if you trying to help her or help Fifth Harmony sell more records?"
This was followed by a huge reaction from the audience and presenters Rylan Clark-Neal and Matt Edmondson.
I think he's trying to recreate what happened with Fleur East and Uptown Funk, as both Fleur and Mark/Bruno benefitted from Fleur's performance of an unreleased song.
That's My Girl shot up to #10 on itunes UK after Gifty performed it, so Simon's plan worked.

Really?
I actually think it's a good idea, just thought it was funny someone came for him for it
