It's Kelly Clarkson. She's the only other artist I can think of that sort of fits the description. She has two #1s, but she is losing star power (unfortunately), and her label uses her a musical slave. On that note, it's not her fault, it's her label. She wants to do more albums like Thankful and My December, but her label pressures her into making Breakaway and All I Ever Wanted type albums.
