Cheryl Cole is being lined up as the next Miley Cyrus by the Disney corporation in America, it has been revealed.
The Girls Aloud singer-turned-solo-star has been targeted by the international entertainment franchise behind a host of US pop icons.
The news has been met with celebration by current teen idol Selena Gomez, who says she would jump at the chance to work with the ‘X Factor' judge.
"She's got it all - brains, beauty and a hint of bolshyness," said an insider in the Mickey Mouse operation, explaining they hope to feature Cheryl in a one-off special.
"It's unbelievable the levels of interest she has stirred up in the Disney studios following her recent trips to LA.
"From her experiences in Girls Aloud, she can also handle the high energy routines so the plan is to incorporate her in a show," they said.
Meanwhile, Gomez, who scored a top ten hit in the UK this month with ‘Naturally', admitted she would "love to work with Cheryl Cole on a Disney show".
"I've just seen that video ‘Parachute'. She is beautiful. I'd love to," she revealed [Daily Mirror].
