My friend bought it and was trying to tell me it was amazing, this brand new experience never seen before. "millions of planets to travel to, to do whatever you want!". I doubt he plays it much now He's one of those people who jumps on the hype train and will love it no matter what but then eventually be like "I like it, but it wasn't that good".
Probably, I've never seen such a big backlash against a game, even Mighty No.9 didn't get it this bad
Battleborn had a pretty embarassing launch though, but that's more to do with being severly being overshadowed by Overwatch

Still so disappointed. Glad I didn't buy NMS.
