are you saying that the news today was "the drop of a hat?" I'm assuming the news stations worldwide featuring the story as their headline would beg to differ. The media finally got their "scandal" for pump up horserace, they've been waiting. What can really be damaging here is the language of "reopened," which the media is still running with. But until we get more details there won't be new news to report on. HRC did the right thing but inmediately calling a presser.

The wildcard is that Dems have to be prepared in the event that the FBI does release more info and it's damaging.

Of course the media is reporting it, literally nothing else is happening right now, they've been starved for something. The point is we don't know at this point whether or not it will actually have any impact in terms of discouraging Dems to stay home, so panicking isn't really worth it until we have more info.

I would just refrain from watching the media until election day.

Unless you want to wallop in their narrative that this is the end of Hillary's campaign, and Trump will win, I'd turn it off.

Most people on social media seem to be defending her for a change.

The top Facebook comments on CNN's video of Hilary's press conference are all pro-Hillary / anti-Comey. I was expecting even more 'lock her up' talk than usual, but most people see this as an desperate attempt to interfere with the election.

Maybe this whole story wasn't so bad at all. And maybe she should just keep the remaining Trump tapes and let Trump be remembered as the one who played dirty.
