Can Beyoncé pass Madonna in the long run?
Lbr Beyoncé is gonna be here for a while being a major star, she has been successful for 20 years now, while Madonna was for 30.
She's edging in her in world tours, longetivity and relevance.
Does she have a major opportunity to pass her overall?

Nobody will. Just like nobody will pass MJ. She's still a legend though.

beyonce has not put out anything iconic that caused the gp to like her since single ladies. sure she might have had a couple hits and sold out world tours along the way but do you think the day after tomorrow people will remember ?
when i think of madonna i think of like a virgin, papa don't preach, like a prayer, la isla bonit, her 80's fashion, britney xtina kiss, etc. etc.
when i think of beyonce i just think single ladies. really... thats just it.

Both can be passed in the future tho, the thing is sales will be completely dead and other factors like streaming will count.
But there might be someone with more impact in the future than them.

Crazy in Love, and to a lesser degree Halo too, but I see your point. The lack of hit singles will definitely hurt her legacy

SL, BEYONCE and Lemonade
But she's still has a lot of time to be impactful. She's in her mid 30s and I'm sure she'll be major in her 40s with the way she's going. Ageism won't affect her.

Yes she lacks the hits now, but her 2 last albums as a whole make up for that. Both albums had major impact.

She is the only female capable of doing so based on the current status. If she can have another 3-4 Beyonce's and Lemonades we can talk.

No. Just because she will match M's longevity doesn't mean she will pass her because Bey's peak has never been nearly big as M to begin with. It's not the 80's anymore and pop stars have lost a lot of their influences. MTV and pop music was a huge part of people's lives back then and M was a face of the decade. She also had a huge impact on pop visuals, reinventions, fashion, concerts, female empowerment, rebellion, controversies, sexuality, equal rights. Madonna was way beyond the pop music scene...No one thinks of the 00's/10's and then think of Beyoncé.... I mean, B still got a long way to even pass Whitney and Mariah...

That's your own issue though, not hers. Because the public still love "Crazy in Love", "Irreplaceable", "Drunk in Love", "Run the World (Girls)" and "Halo" as well, to name but a few. She's going to be a legend and we all know it, people like you just don't want to accept it until she's gone.

local citizens will probably remember those hits but worldwide single ladies is only remembered as beyonce's hit. shes going to have to do more than that if she wants to top MJ or Madonna. I don't think any pop stars care to top a musical legend. Her fans constantly make such bold outrages statements just so they can boost their own self esteem.

Keyword here, I and that's good for you bajaboy07, remember to continue speaking for yourself.
OT: Sales? No. Touring is possible. Longevity? Perhaps. Beyoncé is respected as a performer especially by the industry, the fact she can actually sing also helps. Whenever Madonna performs now most people are like She has nothing else to fall back on so she has no choice. There will come a time when Beyoncé will stop with the high energy performances and choreo but she has her amazing voice to fall back on.
Only time will tell.
