So say you're watching TV or at the movies with either a family member or friend & two gay characters suddenly make lip contact. What is the reaction across the board?

My mother would most likely be pressed, change the channel (if we're at home)& try to preach to me about the end of the world & biblical prophecies . And im all like "little does she know..."

My sisters wouldn't mind tbh. My big sister watched OITNB & my little sister loves Empire & HTGAWM & gets grossed out by all pda in general

I don't watch TV too much with my dad but once on Judge Judy there was a lesbian couple & him and his friends were all like "ooh this world is coming to an end & Jesus better hurry up & come." Meanwhile this dude is divorced, probably seeing some next chick & rarely attends church .

What sort of reactions do you get in this situation?

they go to gay clubs and see gays kiss and think its hot and record them (my straight girlfriends)

my parents don't say much they stay quiet

my cousins say gross and **** like that

my friends either do a very over-exaggerated OH MY GOOOOOD SO CUTE!!! or they just don't react and my father and brother will look away in disgust and i don't think it affects my mom very much

they are not amused

My parents are usually like perfectly neutral and show no reaction what so ever.

My female friends freak out when me and my boyfriend do literally anything ever. Like we don't really "do" PDA but occasionally like if we're clubbing or something we'll like dance in sync together or like I'll randomly fix his hair if it's out of place and they flip their lid. Actually women always do this to us everywhere, not just friends. We were holding hands at a rave and some girl turn around, gave us the up down, and then looked us dead in the eyes and was like "You guys.... are so. cute." and we were like ":| thx."

My elder sister and my mom would be slightly bothered I think, maybe my cousin who has displayed some homophobic tendencies but idk

Some of my "friends" are really freaked out by it but they're very incultured and dumb

None of my family react to it so I assume that it doesn't bother them, although my parents aren't a fan of too much pda though so if it goes on a while then they get a bit bothered but they are the same with straight couples.

Maybe an uncomfortable facial expression and then if I comment on their ignorance, they'd suddenly say 'tbh, I don't like PDA on any type of couple, straight, gay idc '

Visual discomfort, but usually no comment. Unless they are eating each others face off or something.

I remember the first time Klaine kissed on Glee my mom was like "Ugh. I don't like it when they show this on TV."

Buuuut she's like way more accepting now, proud of her.

Idk about the rest of them... my friends/siblings wouldn't care, my dad's non-confrontational so he probably just like goes with it no matter what he thinks. so yeah
