I constantly see threads on atrl with people showing that their favorite pop star has acclaim among straights as if straight people have the more important opinion. Do you find this to be true?
Well.. straight people are still the vast majority of the population, so when it comes to success, you gotta have some kind of straight fanbase. Most female pop stars' fanbases are mainly straight women, not gay men.
Idk I mosty see people wanting straight men's validation here. I feel like women (straight and gay) and gay men have the same taste towards pop music. And really that's what pop music's fan base mostly consists of so it shouldn't matter in the end
