Taeyeon said it was supposed to be her digital single, but then SM released it as a Station song instead to promote that project (without telling her).
That's why it's (probably) the only Station track with a B-Side.

The conspiracist in me makes me believe that Rain could've been a part of Taeyeon's EP/LP
but they pulled it out last minute for a digital single/SM Station

then they lowkey scrapped the project, started it over and released Why instead
So maybe 11:11 is a leftover from the original 2nd EP

I'd rather them not release on a Friday, which is near the end of the charting week.

I never understood why SM doesn't release at Monday 0am. it's always either Tuesday or Wednesday
