So I've been needing a new computer for months now and was completely sold on buying the new MBP until I saw these prices. The 512GB with the Touch Bar is $2419 Canadian AFTER the student discount is applied. I honestly have NO idea what Apple is thinking with this one. I'm sure there are TONS of people like me who were ready to click the buy button, but are now reconsidering because of the price. I feel like they really messed up with this one.
To be really honest - what the f are students buying Macs for any way? Shouldn't ya'll be on a budget? Go buy a HP / Toshiba.
