This touchbar is cool. Not essential but definitely a good repurposing of the space above the keyboard.
I never realized how useless the function keys were. Tradition I guess.

that is a steep price increase... and the way they described the pro line as for their "high end professional" users and the air for the "others" was a bit ummm
