Anime artists/animators in Japan have never been paid well though

It's pretty common knowledge at this point that they work unbelievably long hours, under high stress and barely ever get to go home to see their families. It's technically been "dying" for decades now. So I mean, I guess one could argue that it's dying
faster, but anime is still popular as ever. If they really want to move the industry forward, they need to start releasing on platforms that actually matter, like Netflix and Hulu. Nobody cares about Sushiroll.
