Nope. Her discography, although short, is excellent and one of the best and most influential of any r&b artist.

Hype never lasts too long. If there was no substance, no quality and no actual impact in her, people wouldn't still adore her and pay homage to her 15 years later. Sure, death can inflate a legacy (her detractors love to go there) but how many deceased artists are as remembered and as talked about as Aaliyah? She had something special

Overrated by her stans for sure, rightly rated by everyone else. She was talented and has some excellent music though.
