Scariest experience in your life?
Okay so after the Power100 last year I was MAJORLY sleep deprived. I was doing recounts so I went like 2-3 days without sleeping and I was starting to have hallucinations. The Power 100 ends and I'm finally about to get some rest.
A couple hours later, I woke up in a pool of blood. My nose was broken when I was six months old so I sometimes get nosebleeds - especially in my sleep so I wasn't too worried. That was until I realized it was, like, a gallon of blood. I blacked out after this and woke up in a hospital.
At first it seemed very real, yet very....artificial. Like a very lucid dream. My family was there to greet me when I woke up, and I recognized what hospital I was in because it was the one my mother worked at before she died. Anyway they left and I started to notice the doctors and nurses all had these thick, Russian-like accents that my family didn't have. Soon, I didn't recognize anything. I noticed these people who I didn't recognize outside my room and just started to panic. Idk why but I knew I had to get out of there.
So I rip my IV out and jump out of the hospital window ( it was only one story but still). When I got outside, I knew I wasn't "home" anymore. Everything seemed unfamiliar and everything was written in these symbols that I couldn't understand. Sort of like the Russian Alphabet or smth. I eventually found a sign that said "Ankara" and figured that's where I was, but after googling it and realizing I was in ****ing Turkey I started bawling. Why the **** am in Turkey? Where did my family go? Why did they leave me here? What am I supposed to.do? I have no money, dont know anyone and my phone is gonna die.
A lady walking down the street noticed me crying and tried to help. I don't think she spoke English but she could understand it. She led me up to her apartment and offered me a.place to stay , at least for the night. She was sketchy af but frankly I was out of options. She cooked some weird ass food, we went to bed, and I woke up at my house in Minnesota, like nothing had ever happened.
I told my family about it and to this day they deny any of it happening. Their version of the story is that they heard me screaming in the middle of the night, and took me to the hospital when they couldn't wake me. The doctors gave me some meds to help with the sleep deprivation, which was what cause the vivid hallucinations. One of the doctors said that the lack of sleep also played a part, I was so sleep deprived I couldn't differentiate what was real and what wasn't.
I was weirdly relieved. Sure, I had a public mental breakdown in Random Thoughts, but at least it wasn't real and I was home and i could just move on with my life. And I have, until last night I found the bloody sheets. Why did my family lie about the blood? Why did they keep those disgusting ****ing sheets? Most of all, why was the blood type different than mine?
TL;DR: I was sleep deprived and on medication that caused hallucinations, couldn't differentiate reality vs hallucination, thought i was somehow teleported to Ankarra, Turkey and so I had a mental breakdown in Random Thoughts trying to figure it out. Eventually I woke up, told
my family and they explained what happened to me, but they lied about parts of it and I don't know why.
What about you? Ever experienced sleep paralysis, a near death experience or other phonemona?

So wait this all really happened or not? I'm confused, but that's terrifying I haven't had anything like that, but a lot of scary experiences.

What is that story omg
I once fell on the floor bc of a man coming out of his car without watching and my head almost hit a moving car (on the road). There was also a car behind me but it stopped right in time
I also broke my leg bc I got angry with my parents and jumped out of the car when it was still moving and the wheel broke my entire leg (it hit it from the side)

It was mostly hallucinations besides the blood, which they lied about for some reason.
I don't know if I'll confront them though.. I just want to move on.

In high school I used to party A LOT, like every weekend & during summers, sometimes 4-5 times a week. Where I live, it's a really country town so there's a **** ton of fields to have parties in.
My town and like 15 of the towns/cities surrounding it all partied together. It went like this: Someone would decide to have a party at their house/field/backyard, send the address out to their friends, and then the address was sent throughout all of the towns/cities surrounding. So, as you can assume, the parties were usually huge. Either ranging from 100-700 people, depending on certain circumstances.
Let's get to the story, so we never have parties in MY hometown, usually in other towns by us. This one time, my friends & I were told by some people there was a small party in my hometown, and we decided to invite people. HORRIBLE IDEA. The address was sent to everyone, and SOOO many people started showing up & the owner of the house did NOT like how many people were there, and a lot of them were underage also.
He was fine with it at first, but then started getting really mad & getting into this black guy's face. Then all of a sudden, the owner of the house throws a punch at the guy, and literally 10 of his friends just started attacking him. It turned into a huge fight with some of the owner's friends & the black guy's friends. Once it was broken up, the people all started leaving (the owner said he was calling the cops soooo that's the sign to leave a party).
BUT, while everyone was STARTING to leave, (besides me & the people who knew the owner of the house) the owner of the house decides it would be a good idea to throw a beer bottle at a car while they were about to drive away. Right when that happened, gun shots go off. I was literally like 10-15 feet away from where this happened, and I was SO scared. I grabbed my best friend and jumped to the ground, and just waited a few seconds.
Right after that my friends & I HAD to leave because that was too intense for us.
I have some other crazy ****in stories but this one was probably the most scariest for me.
Summary: Was close to getting shot at a party. Yup, love my life.

Yea they could get crazy! Like my graduation party last year had like 600 people (my aunt's back yard is HUGEE) it was amazing, but there was like 3 fights that night, some girl got punched by this black dude, there were people having 3-somes in our woods, this dude injected molly & overdosed, like it was crazy.
And then at 5am, after an ambulance & like 3 cops came to start shutting the party down, some drunk-ass retard stole my aunt's van & crashed it into a tree, ON HER PROPERTY. Like it was SO messed up.
I'm over that stage now though soo

Running into a wild emu while walking my dog on holiday out in the country. I was only 12 at the time, so it was scary as ****. Thankfully my absolute legend of a dog managed to scare it off by lunging at it when it came really close to me
