Staunchly pro-choice. And we MUST continue to fund Planned Parenthood and similar organizations. Give the gays and trans people their proper protections. I believe in full legalization of marijuana, but we need to keep coke, heroine and other similar substances illegal. I am definitely for a soda/sugary drink tax. I 100% support GMO labeling (and in a perfect world, they'd be banned in grocery stores and only used to supply areas of extreme famine). I absolutely hate how Big Agriculture has monopolized our food and farming industries. I think we need extreme regulations there. I think our society is overly criminalized and our police force is too militarized. It could be said that I'm hawkish, but I choose to say I'm just a strong leader of American leadership. I also think we should be doing a lot more to fight global disease and to protect the environment. I really don't care that protecting the environment could potentially cost jobs and hurt some companies.

On an economic basis, I think a lot of people who are in crappy situations have found themselves there because of there own decisions. I'm not anti-Big Business, anti-Corporation like the progressives. I don't think they should be lambasted for making too much of a profit or how much the CEOs make. But the record does show that when we have NO regulations, big companies do do things that hurt the middle class. I support a $15 minimum wage and I think it should be easier for small business owners to get startup funds and loans.

All of that said, I'd say I'm pretty liberal.
