the Britney fans are being extra nasty. i think its because they enjoy seeing her biggest competition back in the day fail so miserably yet again. Britney always stole her thunder. I dont think Britney has it anymore vissually tho but musically she is on top of her game

Not generally. Some Britney stans are analytically giving their assessments and it's corresponding predictions on this thread fairly. Although, some stans are unnecessarily being malicious.

I don't get how people assume just because one song did something, another will do the exact same. There are some issues with your theory though. First and foremost, "She Wolf" is a better song than "NMT". Video/promo would help it. Secondly, Shakira is not as big of an artist Christina is in America. She has a few top ten hits, and her albums don't sell amazingly well, besides her debut.

"She Wolf" also had a few things. First, 100k free downloads were sold on ABC, plus it was available for free download on AllAccess. Then, it was released to radio just the week of it's iTunes release, while "NMT" is performing horribly and it's been on radio for almost 3 weeks and almost Top 20. The exposure level is a huge difference.

Besides, at least Shakira stans can celebrate the brilliance of "She Wolf". "NMT" is performing badly and is a very mediocre/bad song.

I could care less about you. Fact is, "NMT" & "She Wolf" are two different situations. "She Wolf" had many setbacks to its early performance. "NMT" does not.

Taste is subjective, but in this case the majority would choose Shakira.

I think you missed the point. Xtina stans are clowning Britney's life when she was a mess and aggravated under the belt stories that never should have been on the first place. To cut the talk short: it was Britney's life which was stapled to a laughing stock of the matter for the Xtina stans while the other party are throwing slanders at the poor performance of NMT. And some are not even that serious.

This had everything going for it, her lable was completly 100% behind her. There are no excuses

she-wolf =/= nmt

she wolf by shakira flopping =/= nmt by christina flopping

Therefore, this songs performance has no relation to she-wolf or any other songs performance..."shakira" can form an opinion of NMT's performance without the slightest thought of she wolf.......

and that's exactly what he/she is doing... But the biggest thing your missing is the CONTEXT.... Christina failing is being interpreted harshly by virtually every non-stan for MULTIPLE reasons that i'm sure your aware of.. many people, including the light-weight fans who anticipated her new work are interpretating the situation as Karma for ALL that's been said by herself or even her stans......

another thing is that needs to be stated is that it's pretty safe to say no-one, or atleast very few have any serious issues with X-tina..... it's not a HATE thread, but more of a COMEDY thread.... at the end of the day her massive failure that was hyped to no end by her stans is turning out to be the biggest flops in recent history.....that's funny and highly ironic since she's the ONLY mainstream pop artists who's managed to verbally attack aLL her peers, and unprovokingly so...........and theres really not much else to say
