No bacon where I live but I tried bacon in European countries especially in France and didn't like it :/
Idk if it tastes the same in the US but the ones I tried were not very fatty, it was round like boloney and not striped shped and it tasted very smoky and salty but not in a good way. I tried pancetta which looked like bacon and wasn't bad.
