The Commission on Human Rights in the Philippines then chaired by De Lima herself already launched an investigation regarding the alleged extrajudicial executions involving Duterte in his jurisdiction when he was still mayor but found nothing. There also recently has been a hearing in the senate regarding this but the case has already been closed again for lack of any evidence and failure of De Lima to present any credible witnesses.

The moral demolition by the government against this woman has already begun 2 months ago. She's being linked to drug lords and accused of benefitting and amassing money from drug trade when she was still Justice secretary though the case against her is sketchy because the government granted the drug lords immunity from suit in exchange for their testimony against her. Apparently, both De Limas's investigation on Duterte's EJKs and the government's investigation on De Lima's drug trade involvement have become demolition jobs against each other. Don't know anymore which side is telling the truth.
