TWICE, a rookie girl group that debuted less than 12 months ago, have already sold over 300,000 physical albums and 3,508,541 digital singles.
In the past 12 months, 5H sold 85,000 physical + digital copies of their album in the US and 3,317,500 digital singles worldwide according to their receipts thread
TWICE's new single has also accumulated 5,690,265 views on YouTube in less than 24 hours compared to 5H's highest of 6,656,963 views in a full 24 hours.
This is especially surprising considering 5H's only strong area is streams.
Keeping in mind that TWICE's physical albums are more expensive than 5H's physical and digital albums, why do you think this is?

7/27 alone has sold 370K copies, more than both of TWICE's albums put together. Not sure why US sales are relevant + those numbers are old. And Work From Home alone has sold over 4M copies.

Work From Home got over 10M views in a day, try again
Does South Korea even stream? I know they have Melon or w/e, but is it even used like Spotify, where 5H is big?
They released 2 singles thus far, both of which had over 90 million streams on paid streaming services in Korea (both will surpass 100 million before the year ends)

Yeah, quite a lot.
Cheer Up is the most streamed song in Korea this year.
I think all the music charts there, like Bugs, Melon, Genie, Naver etc. have streaming capailities, though I'm not 100% sure.

7/27 alone literally has more songs on it than both of TWICE's EPs combined.
TWICE sold 34,207 albums yesterday, so they'll surpass that within a week anyway.
So they sold 85,001 instead of 85,000?
Is that 4 million pure sales?
and do you have receipts?
Also, I was talking about first day views, duh.

I hate you, why didn't you say this before I made the thread
7/27 alone literally has more songs on it than both of TWICE's EPs combined [2], so I don't really think you can add in Reflection too, especially when it was released almost a year before TWICE was a thing.

You can't take an album off Fifth Harmony just because your trying to prove the other band is superior
