I lighted up a joint awhile ago I won't lie, but anyway I just thought of this.

We all know our parents names but do u have any idea when you learned it ? Like is your mom like" My name is ____ " while you are a baby ?

don't most parents call each other by their names

I think you hear the one parent say the other parents name (or other family members / friends).

That's an interesting question. My son is 2 and I highly doubt he knows my name. Like he's heard it tons of times but I doubt he knows that it's referring to me. Especially bc he just knows me as mama.

At least 4. My niece knew her parents, uncles, aunts and grandparents names by that age

I can't remember when.

I know I learned my mom's nickname early on cause my step dad kept calling her by it, and I went to say it and she cut me the evil eye telling me I wasn't allowed to call her that.

My mum used to scream my dad's name a lot when I was younger so I think I knew his from quite a young age. Around 3 maybe.

My older sister used to call my parents by their names because that's what they called each other, so after that they started calling each other "Mama" and "Daddy" so she would stop calling them by their names
