It’s no secret that X Factor judge Cheryl Cole is keen to launch her music career in America and rumours of a possible collaboration with Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger make that achievement seem more likely than ever.
The Daily Star have reported that Nicole’s management are keen to promote Cheryl in America and think that a sexy duet may be just the way to ensure maximum exposure for both singers on both sides of the Atlantic.
A source told the newspaper: “Nicole’s manager wants to look after Cheryl’s American campaign.
“He knows anyone who has the backing of Will.i.am and Simon Cowell will be huge and they want in on it.”
Both girls are aware of each other due to their friendships with Dancing With The Stars professional Derek Hough.
The insider added: “Nicole’s currently working on her second solo album which will have a much more dance and electronic sound than her first one.
“She’s moving away from R&B to a sound very similar to Cheryl’s, so it makes sense for them to record together.
“Derek is constantly raving about Cheryl to Nicole and vice-versa.
“It’s early days yet but it would make sense.
“Nicole’s involvement would guarantee a big hit in America, while Cheryl’s would guarantee a smash hit back here.”

+ ARE GIRLS ALOUD GOING TO SPLIT SOON?
An official statement from Ladbrokes says the chances that the five members – Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh – will part ways is now two to one on.
These incredibly tight odds comes after high speculation of rifts between the fivesome.
Last year they took a one-year break where each of them pursued their own ambitions.
Cheryl went on to launch her successful solo career, Nicola created a new make-up brand for fair skinned females, Sarah pursued her acting, Kimberley took a turn at presenting and Nadine has been working in LA in her own bar and putting material together for her debut solo album which is yet to begin.
The girls are supposed to reunite this June but with the rumoured feud between Cole and Coyle over their solo careers and Kimberley accusing Nadine of going awol Stateside and only thinking of herself, perhaps it’s better the five girls don’t reunite…
Nadine is such a buzzkill, seriously.
WHAT DO U THINK?? i hope she won't collaborate with Nicole
