yeah, the mother was wrong for forcing and abusing her son when he didn't have gender dysphoria. The same thing with parents abusing actual trans people for having to act like their birth sex, when they want to live a life as the opposite sex.
This reminds me of Jazz, whose mother pretty much forced her into it from a very young age. But she's turned out to be a pretty well-adjusted young adult so who knows.
