By the way, what date format do you usually use? Here in the Philippines, it's MM/DD/YYY or month day, year

DD/MM/YYYY... it makes sense... smallest to biggest.

We use dd/mm/yyyy everywhere in the middle east.

in the USA it's MDY but I personally use DMY because it looks more organised to me and that's how I read dates; I usually say "22nd of october, 2016"/"the 22nd" instead of "october 22nd, 2016"

We simply read it "October twenty-two 2016" here

It might look weird to some of you but it's the best format here in the U.S., since it's also how we say the date in conversations.
