Philippines is US' gateway to Asia since time immemorial. It would be hard for it to let it go. But on the other hand, Philippines and China have always been partners in trade even before the former was colonized. China is super powerful now too. So... Philippines is in a confusing state right now. Hooray for better relations with China though.
But what would the other ASEAN nations think? Obviously China is a major trade partner for ASEAN, but we also have everyone scrambling over the South China Sea.

yes, they will. The government would probably handicap them with fines out of this world and they'll just move their businesses to another country or stateside. Moving all those jobs back home would make the government look like rock stars in the eyes of the general public. And during these times, anything to get an inch with their constituents, these congressmen will take. One of the biggest outcries at the moment has been the outsourcing of our jobs to countries overseas from manufacturers to telecom, millions of people want those jobs back here. Though, if these companies are forced out by our government, they'll just move on to another country and reestablish ties with that place over moving them here. Those bastards try to avoid paying wages at home because it's cheaper overseas. Would they do it all at once? No, it would be impossible to transition 1 million + jobs that quick, but it would be an incremental change indeed.
