Madonna's fourth album was Like a Prayer - a timeless album entirely written and produced by Madonna and Patrick Leonard. (aside from the standalone Prince and Stephen Bray collaborations). An album that Rolling Stone referred to "as close to art as pop music gets" upon release.

Gaga, stop talking smack about what you don't know. Stefani loves to tell us about kindness and love, and how the 'music is the most important thing'. So why give an extremely loaded and argumentative response to that Madonna question? If she really practiced what she preaches, Gaga would've swerved the question and explained her irritability to the comparisons without the 'shady' comments, and without questioning Madonna's musicianship.

Why is she still talking about the Queen of Pop?

Too bad the 'nice lady' used to be a huge influence to her work when her work was actually interesting and exciting, yet she pretends it was never the case and she is sooo different on her tremendous artistic sense. Pretentious.
