em.. that's exactly what her quote implied though. that madonna is purely a performer while gaga is a musician who sings, plays instruments, writes, produces, etc. which isn't a total lie but let's not twist her words to make them not sound like the shade they were.

Out of all the things to say about this album/era, this is not one of them. Comparing it to other pop albums especially, still doesn't make the music any good no matter how small or big the "village" is.
