I just heard about this today... apparently no one can fly in & out of Europe because a volcano is about to erupt there. Someone told me there is ash everywhere.

The volcano went off days ago, but there's still ash in the sky so planes can't fly. My friend is stuck in New York, so luckyyyy!

All the flights got canceled, but I didn't know why.

It apparently already did, and it's a safety precaution. Plus, volcanos erupt all the time, but this one is big because of it's location.

It's still a scary thought. Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunami threats

All of which happen every year.

Well the Earthquakes have definently been bigger... Although they have nothing to do with the subject but still...

2012 is just a number. Year is just a time. "Time" is a definition created by man. Everything is coincidential.

Yeah, but they are happening in much more populated areas. It seems like somebody is trying to hurt the humankind.
