Whoever owns and has access to that camera would've known that it potentially contained evidence, right? Idk... the more things come out to "prove" this happened, the more I start to suspect it's just to cover something up or be used as publicity. Like did they have this tape but hold onto it so they could milk this? Idk... like I said, this isn't some random joe, it's Kim Kardashian and this robbery has been top news for weeks, and the whole thing sounds really sketchy.
