I don't doubt that she has good intentions when it comes to BLM or racial injustice in general, but gurl...the song could have been written about anybody. Angel Down is by no means Strange Fruit, especially not in terms of songwriting or delivery.

And to make it about BLM after she got dragged in a review is poor. That literally overshadows her good intentions and turns it into a personal defence act against "mean" critics who just don't "get" her.

Once again, it makes it look like it's all about her rather than the actual issue.

She should be WAY above all of this.
