Thats stupid. Not buying her a barbie doll wont change anything, as media are pushing the sexualized images and beauty standards everywhere. Noone can escape. Soon will her friends have much bigger influence on her and introducing her to many different things her mom wont be pleased with. She cant lock her up.

And kiii at training her and teaching mantras, sounds like brainwashing

Oh please, she clearly doesn't think she can shield her daughter from everything media does and she is solely speaking on the items her child uses like a toy. She simply wants to give her daughter a good groundwork mentally early on.

And a small positive mantra and teaching children to love themselves is not brainwashing.
