Basically on the older version of iTunes, let's say if I want to play 'Real' by Years & Years I will just press "r-e-a-l" on the keyboard and it would jump to the songs start with 'r-e-a-l' - what I wanted to hear.

But now on the recent version, it starts merging it with Artists and Albums together. That means, I have other songs by a group name Real McCoy, who had songs start with a letter before "R", if I press 'r-e-a-l' in my keyboard it would jump to "Another Night - Real McCoy" just because Another Night stars with an A which is the first letter

Other example: "c-o-l-d" on Cold Water but it jumped to Adventure of a Lifetime by Coldplay

This annoys the **** outta me cause I have like ~5761 songs on my Itunes so I had to scroll all the way down :rip and I don't like the search features on iTunes

So my question is does anyone know how to turn Artists/Albums off ? Many thanks!

that's why I'm always reluctant to update iTunes
it gets worse after each update
for example my Recently Added list now keeps playing the same album unless I manually switch to a new one

I hate that now if I want to playing an album and if an artist on it is different, it skip it.

For example: Travis Scott's new album has Pick Up the Phone with artist tagged as "Young Thug & Travis Scott" while the album artist is Travis Scott, and if I want to listen the full album, I simply won't and put it to the last song. It plays the song as artist order, not as an album. Don't know if there is a solution but it's really annoying.

It's not that it won't let me change the tag, but it doesn't play albums as an album order but as an artist order.

Idk how to explain it but I'm a OCD iTunes and I don't want to change tags, especially if they are original iTunes Plus files

But that's a weird issue. I don't use iTunes so I don't know what to suggest. It's just weird it would play out of order.. even if you click the track number in the sort bar? idk if it has one..
