Madonna's discography is one of the greatest in music history, I mean Erotica-BS-ROL-Music-American Life-COADF is the greatest string of records by a female artist ever. I don't see anyone coming along that is as talented a curator and creative a chameleon as Madonna, anyone who completely galvanizes culture. Maybe in 20-40 years, we'll see.

Rihanna - never appealed to album buyers
Britney - had the most potential but fizzled due to personal problems
Gaga - struggled past album 3
Xtina - she seemed to lack any work ethic after her 2nd album
Beyonce - not enough radio hits and is not pure pop

Mariah, Celine and Whitney were mostly torch ballad singers during their peaks and only Mariah had a wider chart career due to her urban/R&B smashes, so certainly not 'pop' enough for the title.

I don't know what you're trying to push on me, or what kind of education you received; but the one I received here in Africa, we don't use Wikipedia as a source for any factual information. I'll stick with the facts Mr. Wonder has already provided instead.
